Alex has to stay home from school, thanks to a bad cold – and soon finds that he's not alone in the house. To make matters worse, two morning news show anchors begin talking to him from the television, warning him that his mom and the government are out to kill him for being ill (along with the monster in the house that may have sickened the boy to start with). Is Alex really in danger or is this all a fever dream?
