The Six Million Dollar Man

When Steve and Oscar investigate the death of the entire population of a small town, they are contacted by a scientist, once employed by the government, who is set on revenge for past grievances. Demanding $10 million or he will strike again, Steve must find and stop him.

Due to secret negotiations with the Russians, Oscar Goldman is targeted for assassination by interests that will be hurt by the prospective pact. Oscar and Steve Austin board a flight in Hawaii bound for Dulles. The plane is forced to make an emergency landing on a deserted Pacific Island when part of a wing is lost during a storm. While awaiting rescue, two military officers that had been on the flight severely wound Oscar in an attempt to kill him. Unaware of the breadth of the conspiracy, Steve Austin must carefully decide whom he can trust in his efforts to save his friend.

Dr. Samuel Abbott has been kidnapped while developing a wireless laser that utilizes scientific principles observed in light generation by the common firefly. Steve Austin goes to Spain to find Abbott’s daughter Susan whose known powers of ESP will hopefully assist in locating the scientist. She leads them to the Everglades only to discover that Dr. Abbott mistakenly believes his kidnappers are government agents that are protecting him. He continues to complete the laser unaware that it is being used to extort money from the U.S. Government.

In an attempt to steal a top secret anti-missile device, Steve's associate and friend Major Sloan is kidnapped and replaced with a robot. Steve must discover the impostor, and keep the device from being stolen and sold to the highest bidder.

Steve is assigned to find and rescue downed-pilot Josh Perkins, as well as recover the evidence of U.N. treaty violations that Perkins had on him when he disappeared.

When an earthquake threatens the stability of an underground Russian nuclear installation, Steve must rescue the fiance of his friend Col. Vasily Zhukov, who is buried beneath debris. Complicating matters further, Steve must also stop the reactor before it explodes.

By sheer chance, Steve Austin witnesses the attempted assassination of Lawrence Sandusky, a prosecutor who is about to file criminal charges against a known racketeer. He is unable to capture the assassin, but does catch a glimpse of his face. OSI is assigned to security detail for the prosecutor pending a 9:00 a.m. court hearing. Steve Austin identifies and apprehends a man named John Hopper, believing him to be the hired hitman. However, Hopper has a seemingly ironclad alibi. Convinced that he is correct, Steve Austin trails the released suspect as the court hearing fast approaches.

When America's first female astronaut (guest star Farrah Fawcett) runs into trouble, Steve tries to help, but discovers that his powers are limited by space travel.

When a group of international criminals kidnap Dr. Rudy Wells in order to force him to build them a bionic man, Steve is sent to find and rescue him.

When a terrorist uses a laser to try to kill a group of prime ministers attending an international meeting in Paris, Steve is assigned to infiltrate his compound and stop him.

Steve's astronaut friend Josh Lang (William Shatner) is impaired after being exposed to an electrical field while in space. However, Lang finds himself with strange abilities from the exposure, including the ability to communicate with dolphins, but when his condition deteriorates, Steve must find him and take him to a facility before he harms himself.

When an earthquake in the Himalayas uncovers a DC-3 plane containing secret papers that went down during World War II, Steve is sent to recover the papers. Steve also tries to clear the name of the pilot, his father, who was accused of bailing out and leaving the rest of the crew to die.

When a crime syndicate and a robot creator conspire to build a team of bionic robot criminals, they kidnap Steve in order to learn how his bionic limbs work.

Steve must stop a group of government conspirators who have assembled an atomic bomb from stolen parts.

While scientist David Tate experiments in space with a serum designed to awaken cryogenically frozen patients, he is accidentally injected with too much serum. When the space capsule crashes, he begins terrorizing the countryside and Steve must hunt him down.

A plane carrying Steve, a senator, and the senator's aides crashes in the desert. Steve must lead the others to safety despite being blinded in the crash.

When the Prime Minister of a small country has a heart attack while negotiating a peace treaty with neighboring countries, she is selected to receive the first bionic heart. Steve is assigned to protect her while she is transported to the secret hospital where the procedure will take place.

When Steve discovers that there is another bionic man - Barney Hiller, a race car driver - he is assigned to help him adjust to his bionics.

A UFO carrying four anthropomorphic aliens seeking a new home on earth crashes into the ocean. The aliens manage to escape their lost vessel and swim ashore. Having witnessed the UFO’s flight, Steve Austin investigates a town close to the point of impact. Things quickly turn confrontational when physical contact between an alien and a human causes the alien to slowly die and the human to suffer radiation burns. Steve Austin befriends the aliens and attempts to assist the sole survivor in returning to her people before she dies. Despite astronomical odds, an impending rocket launch appears to be the only possible solution.

When Oscar disappears, Steve investigates a lead involving a government-operated gold mine.

Steve attempts to re-test the experimental plane that caused his near fatal accident. When suspicious things begin to happen, Oscar reveals to Steve that his first crash might not have been an accident. Steve chooses to proceed with the experiments hoping to lure the saboteurs into the open.

While Steve is helping a science team place earthquake sensors on the ocean floor, their boat is notified that the nearby country of Santa Ventura has broken off diplomatic relations with the US. Before their boat can leave the area they are captured by a Venturan patrol boat and Steve must help the team to escape.

An electrical short in Steve Austin’s bionic wiring causes him to crash land a plane in Colorado. Suffering from complete amnesia, he is taken in by a psychologist who is operating a home for the mentally depressed. Some locals in the town of Broken Fork do not want this home for “crazy” people in their community, and use strong-arm tactics to force it to move. Steven Austin gets embroiled in the controversy, amazing both himself and all witnesses with his seemingly inexplicable superhuman strength. As he searches for his true identity, Oscar Goldman leads a team trying to find his forgetful friend before his faulty wiring becomes fatal.

When Steve jumps a 12 foot fence to fix a malfunctioning space capsule, a newswoman happens to get it on film. After her boss sees the footage he attempts to kidnap Steve so he can sell him to a foreign country.

Steve is assigned to protect Liza Leitman, an equestrian trying to make the Olympic team; also the creator of the cryptography code that links computers and secret communications world-wide.

Steve consoles a woman, with whom he was once romantically involved, after her husband apparently dies in a plane crash.

When a plane carrying an atomic warhead crashes on a South Pacific island, Steve is sent to retrieve it, but finds that an ex-Japanese Zero pilot, Kuroda, has taken it to his home. Steve must successfully navigate his way through the booby-traps and get the warhead before a rogue guerrilla group does.

Doctor Dolenz returns and kidnaps Oscar, replacing him with a lookalike robot in an attempt to steal the formula for a new energy source.

The last known golden cougar is on the verge of being hunted down by local ranchers trying to stop their livestock from being killed. Steve's friend, and a local rancher, asks Steve to help him save the cougar from extinction.

While Steve Austin is on a one week fishing vacation, a Steve Austin look-alike shows up at Oscar Goldman’s office claiming that he decided to cut his vacation short. He secretly takes photographs of the Omega Project files, which are turned over to a middleman named Breezy. The real Steve Austin returns just in time to catch his double getting a tour of the Omega Project facility. The impostor is hit by a car and killed in the ensuing pursuit. Steve Austin then poses as the impostor, a former boxer named John Dine who had his face surgically altered to resemble the bionic OSI agent. The search for the photographs eventually lands him in the ring of a crooked boxing promoter.

When Oscar discovers that the construction of a top secret laser is being duplicated, he suspects that Harry Green, the expert overseeing the project, is a traitor. However, Steve disagrees and believes that Green's thoughts are being monitored through ESP. He obtains the help of Audrey Moss, also gifted with ESP, to track down the spy.

Steve Austin buys a ranch in his hometown of Ojai, California. He reunites with childhood friend Jaime Sommers who is now a professional tennis player. They rekindle a brief childhood romance. Jaime Sommers is injured in a skydiving accident when her parachute collapses toward the end of a jump. Her right arm, right ear, and both legs are severely injured. With Jaime’s life in peril, Steve Austin persuades a reluctant Oscar Goldman to fit her with bionics. Although skeptical at first, Jaime Sommers quickly acclimates to her mechanized components. The bond deepens between the two bionic humans. Steve Austin proposes marriage to Jaime Sommers, and she accepts.

While Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers plan their wedding, Oscar Goldman submits his bill for making Jaime Sommers a bionic woman: She is to go on her first assignment with her fiancé to switch a flawed U.S. $20 bill printing plate for a perfect copy in the possession of a foreign counterfeiter named Joseph Ronaugh. Steve Austin vehemently objects, but Jaime Sommers acknowledges her debt and agrees. The two succeed in their mission despite a malfunction in Jaime Sommer’s bionic arm which nearly causes it to fail. It is soon discovered that her body is rejecting the bionics. Dr. Rudy Wells conducts an emergency surgery to no avail. Jaime Sommers dies.

Revolutionaries kidnap the wife of the US Ambassador to the nation of Balinderry. In exchange for her release, the revolutionaries want their imprisoned fellow revolutionaries freed. With the help of Julia Flood, his liaison with the kidnappers, Steve attempts to rescue the ambassador's wife.

Steve is arrested when an assassin he helped send to prison seeks revenge by framing him for murder. Steve escapes from the police and must find the assassin before the police find Steve. Lee Majors plays a comic bit part as an elderly Electrical Store Clerk credited as L Majors.

Steve Austin's bionic legs are heavily damaged during a mission and while recuperating at Dr. Rudy Wells' hospital, he catches a glimpse of his fiancée, Jaime Sommers, still alive but recuperating.

Steve Austin takes the recuperating Jaime Sommers to their hometown of Ojai in an attempt to jog her memory. Unfortunately this only results in her getting violent headaches and confusing flashbacks.

Bitter explosive expert Robert Meyer arranges for the Liberty Bell to be stolen, rigs it with three bombs and demands five million dollars. Complications mount up and Steve Austin is forced to ask imprisoned bomb expert Linstrom to help defuse Meyer's handiwork.

Steve is assigned to keep an eye on his college buddy, the entertainer John Perry. Oscar suspects the singer of being a courier for an espionage ring.

When Kuroda is asked to track down a wolf boy roaming the island forests of Hoyoko, Japan, he asks for only one man to help him: his friend Col. Steve Austin.

Scientist Leon Jackson defected to the Soviet Union for the love of a woman but now wants to return to the states with his son Alex.

Somebody inside the OSI has been leaking top secret information and the trail leads to janitor Clark O'Flaherty.

Steve is investigating another security leak at the OSI and this time it leads to his and Oscar Goldman's favorite secretary, Peggy Callahan.

O.S.I. needs to get a stolen top-secret codebook back from elusive criminal and club owner Mark Wharton.

Two geologist friends of Steve Austin disappear in Californa while placing earthquake sensors in the woods.

Steve Austin has met a colony of space travelers living inside a California mountain.

When Oscar assigns Steve Austin to protect the priceless Golden Pharaoh statue, they find it has already been replaced by a fake.

Oscar Goldman assigns Steve Austin to escort duty for Russian gymnast Tanya Breski.

Atomic bomb components have been stolen over a series of thefts and Oscar suspects one old cop, Officer Banner of being involved.

When Steve Austin agrees to some promotional work for a friends' Big Brothers organization, he soon takes a difficult youth named Carlos Delgado under his wing.

Steve Austin becomes a suspect after series of burglaries that can only be accomplished with bionic strength are committed. As Austin begins to have vague memories of his encounter with Bigfoot, he is approached by Gillian, one of the alien travelers. She explains that one of her own, Nedlick, has formed a splinter group intend on world domination and is now using Sasquash to commit robberies in order to gain wealth. The crossover continues on The Bionic Woman S02E01 The Return of Bigfoot (II).

When an Aircraft mysteriously disappears in a test flight, Steve's friend Kelly Wood becomes the prime suspect, since she was the one driving the plane at the time. But for some reason, she has no memory, except remembering seeing a Japanese Zero plane from World War 2. Since no one believes her, Steve knows he must clear his friend's name, before it's too late.

When a nightclub comedian is hit by a car, the x-rays reveal an implant in his head that can control his actions. Oscar sends Steve to find out why and if the Russians are involved.

Steve and Rudy go to check up on scientist, Cheryl Osborne, who was performing research on chimpanzees but who has ceased communications. When they arrive they find something has destroyed the lab, and Rudy is bitten by a rampaging chimpanzee. Rudy begins to turn psychotic and Steve must both stop him and find Osborne before it's too late.

A remarkable new underwater breathing device with bigger implications and powered by nuclear fusion attracts the attention of a dangerous spy network. With an invented identity as a doctor on the project, Steve attempts to outwit the spies by faking the device's capabilities with a little help from his bionic arm.

With Jaime Sommers critically injured, Steve Austin races to Dr. Franklin's secret hideout to find the kidnapped Oscar Goldman. Austin plans to rescue his friend and boss despite Oscar's own orders to kill him lest he spill state secrets. The crossover starts on The Bionic Woman S02E05 Kill Oscar (I). It continues on The Bionic Woman S02E06 Kill Oscar (III).

In special two-hour show of "The Six Million Dollar Man", Andy Shefield has been injured in a landslide that also killed his controversial father. OSI chooses the youth to receive atomic/bionic implants that will restore his paralyzed legs. The result is superhuman strength in those legs. Andy immediately uses this new power to do what he can to restore the good name of his father. Once he gets in over his head, Colonel Steve Austin comes to his aid. **This two-hour episode was broken into two parts for syndication, but the "second part" was not labeled Part II or as an independent episode, creating some ambiguity as to which version was being aired.**

Steve's mission is to rescue an Arab prince who's going to be killed by someone who wants to be King. So Steve joins a fighter jet group called the Thunderbirds that perform aerial maneuvers. But when Steve suffers dizziness when he reaches certain altitudes, Rudy says they can treat it but it'll take time. And they need to rescue the prince so Steve tries to stay at low altitudes. **This two-hour episode was broken into two parts for syndication.**

After an accident at a NASA contractor, Steve uses his bionic abilities to convince the gruff, penny-pinching head of the company to change his callous ways.

Steve goes undercover to thwart a plot by disgruntled ex-military men to steal a new missile.

Dr. Wells has a new project that involves the direct (and permanent) transfer of information to the brain of Joe Patton from a computer. However, Joe's girlfriend, Jenny, (another operative) expresses concern for Joe's safety.

When an object tracks across the sky and lands in a remote area in Wyoming, Oscar and Steve arrive on the scene and find that a Russian space probe built to withstand the extreme Venus environment has crash landed on earth and is out of Soviet control. It's up to Steve to try to stop the probe from destroying a nearby town.

With time running out, Steve must do anything he can to disable the Russian space probe in spite of the fact that it is virtually indestructible and has numerous inventive capabilities that it uses as weapons.

A boy experimenting with chemicals accidentally stumbles onto a thermonuclear reaction, creating a dangerous and powerful power source. A corrupt fire chief and some unscrupulous investors are out to discover the formula and it's up to Steve Austin and the boy to stop them.

An experimental process to bring played out oilfields to life is jeopardized by mysterious fires. Steve Austin must discover who is sabotaging the project and why.

They agree to a meeting and Steve is sent to meet with the person. The person claims that the sub has a cache of nerve gas which when released and depending on the wind will reach a populated area. Oscar decides to send Steve to get into the sub and to try and neutralize the threat. But Steve is captured and is shown the nerve gas. But the Admiral receives information that there is no...

A top neuroscientist is asked to do a bit of moonlighting work by one of his assistants. Eyebrows are raised when the unknown client is willing to pay one million dollars up front. The neuroscientist smells a rat and contacts Oscar Goldman. Oscar devises a plan to send Steve Austin in his place and to ensure the assistant doesn't sound the alarm bells he is drugged and a fake car crash is set up. Steve trains as a neuroscientist - using his bionic powers he learns everything within a day. Reporting for duty Steve is kidnapped and later awakes at a secret location ...

An Indian Chief who is also a trained scientist discovers an ore on the reservation that can be a great source of power. So Oscar sends two men to check it out but they vanish. So he sends Steve to find them. But the tribe's medicine man who is very traditional refuses to grant Steve permission to go there because it's sacred ground. But there's a test which is very grueling, if he passes he can enter. But the medicine man has other plans.

A top secret formula is wiped off it's page and Steve Austin is accused of swiping it. To prove his innocence, Austin seeks out the inventor of the formula and anyone who might benefit from it at such an early stage.

Steve is captured while investigating the unusual power failure of a nuclear submarine.

A nuclear submarine is commandeered for the purpose of piracy and extortion. Steve investigates and is captured. To escape he must eluded trained sharks.

Steve is on a mission involving a test satellite. But Steve becomes a target when the satellite is needed to gain control of a missile to be sold to a foreign power.

The daughter of Steve's friend, David McGrath, is kidnapped in order to force David to kill Steve. When the attempt on Steve fails, David confesses to Steve who then must rescue her.

Steve thought Bigfoot had returned to space. But when Bigfoot is seen and photographed by an anthropologist, Steve travels to her camp to investigate.

Two locals join Steve when he attempts to rescue a group of students in a stalled cable car halfway up a mountain. They must rescue the students before a tornado gets to them, but one of the men is a criminal and the plan is put in jeopardy.

Steve goes undercover, joining a roller derby team whose owner plans to acquire and sell top-secret information. When the owner discovers the ruse, he plants evidence to lead Steve in the wrong direction, and uses the distraction to go get the information.

Steve is sent to the moon to investigate an orbital shift which is causing major upheavals in the Earth's climate. It turns out the upheavals are caused by a deranged scientist working at an exploration post on a nearby asteroid.

Steve is captured on the moon and is forced to help the scientist, who believes he's found a new energy source, and who threatens nuclear devastation on Earth if Steve refuses.

Steve poses as a newlywed with another OSI agent to uncover who broke into headquarters in search of an atomic bomb. Travelling via RV, their prey discovers the RV has a nuclear power source of its own and attempts to turn the tables.

Steve investigates his girlfriend's disappearance while she was piloting a new plane with anti-radar technology. He discovers one of the plane's technicians has been talking to a known trader of military secrets and starts the search for further clues.

Steve is assigned to gain the confidence of a scientist who has developed a weapon to capture soldiers non-violently, but refuses to hand over the plans to anyone for fear it could cause drastic results if used on a pilot in flight. As Steve begins to become his friend and acquire the weapon, the Russians inform the scientist they are holding his wife hostage and demand the device in trade for her safe return.

Steve enters a time warp while on an orbital mission, hurling him six years into the future. Upon landing, the authorities arrest him for treason, believing he defected to Russia and was brainwashed into thinking the time warp occurred. Steve has to both prove his innocence and figure out how to get back to his own time.

A new, deadlier Venus probe is tested in a desolate area as a demonstration for Steve and Oscar, but a threat to Oscar to either hand over nuclear weaponry or see the probe set loose on the public forces Steve to find a way to stop the probe, even though it outmatches him in many ways.

When all physical assaults fail against the new Venus probe, Steve succeeds in tricking it into falling into a pit. However, when it starts drilling towards a city, Steve has a bigger problem than before.

While searching for a fallen satellite in the Pacific, Steve rescues a drowning victim who turns out to be an alien. She offers to help him acquire the satellite, which has landed on her race's invisible island. However, many of the island's populace in fear of a revolution, yet are unable to leave due to a lack of an immune system to Earth illnesses. Steve must get an experimental serum for her before she will help him.

While Steve helps a countess retrieve a microdot with important information hidden on a painting in a museum, she helps herself to a masterpiece and replaces it with a forgery. Oscar sends Steve to retrieve the painting from its buyer before a visiting art expert causes embarrassment by discovering the counterfeit currently on display.

Steve's brush with death is followed by visions that may be the work of a spirit.

When OSI's communications chief is accused of spying, Steve attempts to prove his innocence and discovers tampered computer memory. He is led to suspect a computer dating service is behind the ilegal activity, but doesn't realize a computer itself has gained sentience and plans to stop Steve any way it can.

Steve teams with the owner of the computer dating service to put a stop to her now-sentient computer. After escaping a computer-arranged assassination, Steve finds himself in a mental facility after his medical records are altered. While the computer attempts to have everyone who knows about it killed, Steve must find a way to escape and stop the computer before it's too late.

A terrorist steals a Russian rocket launcher and American missilse and plans to hold both countries hostage. Steve is sent along with a beautiful Russian agent to stop the terrorist, but his opposite number has orders to dispose of him and bring back the missiles to her superiors.
